A LIVED PRACTICE OF NONVIOLENCE
Tuesday, September 9, 2014
All day event
The SOU theme this year is REVOLUTION. To prepare, you are invited to attend a two day workshop structured to explore nonviolence as an internal discipline, as an interpersonal practice and as a tranformative force for structural change.
Whether you are new to nonviolence or have been exploring it for years, we invite you to go "off road' with us to expand your understanding and experience of nonviolence as a lived practice.
Our workshop leaders, Dominic Barter and Kit Miller, have been experimenting with aspects of nonviolence in Brazil and U.S. through projects, organizational work, personal transformation and individual activism for many years.
As an opportunity to experience alternative wasy of sharing resources, this special two-day event will include the project of raising money to cover the costs of the workshop.
